Steel lined PTFE pipe (P17-P18) performance advantages and application range

During the construction of steel-lined PTFE pipes: first, cut the seamless steel pipe according to the actual size, weld the steel pipe with the welding ring, and use manual argon arc welding inside the ring. The spatter during welding is cleaned with a file, and the fillet weld is ground into a rounded corner without sharp edges. Then, drill a small hole at the end of the steel pipe, make a clear mark, and do not block it. This hole is used to discharge the residual gas between the steel pipe and the PTFE tube during heating, and to observe whether the PTFE tube is damaged and leaking during pressure testing. The steel pipe should be pre-assembled before lining.
Chemical properties of steel-lined PTFE pipes:
1. Non-flammability: The oxygen limit index is below 90.
2. Acid and alkali resistance: Insoluble in strong acids, strong alkalis and organic solvents.
3. Anti-oxidation: Can withstand corrosion from strong oxidants.
4. Atmospheric aging resistance: Radiation resistance and low permeability: Long-term exposure to the atmosphere, the surface and performance remain unchanged.
Working characteristics of steel-lined PTFE pipes:
1. Performance: medium working temperature: -100 degree ~-250 degree
2. Medium working pressure: positive pressure: 2.5MPa, negative pressure resistance 70KPa at room temperature.

Steel-lined PTFE pipes are suitable for highly corrosive gases and liquids at high temperatures. Other types of steel-plastic composite pipes and metal pipes are not suitable for conveying media. Steel-polytetrafluoroethylene composite pipes are suitable for conveying corrosive media with a working temperature of -40 degree ~+150 degree .
